Frequently Asked Questions

What Ages Do You Teach?

While we have programs for every age, private lessons are for ages 5 through adult. They are designed to help families experience what playing piano or violin looks like at Tuned Hearts is like. For beginners, we introduce foundational concepts in a fun and encouraging environment. For experienced students, we may ask them to demonstrate what they already know and provide activities tailored to their current level. We also ask students what kinds of music they enjoy so we can personalize instruction around their interests and goals.

We do not offer traditional make-up lessons. However, we provide additional support through free practice labs where students can receive accountability, feedback, and guidance on their lesson assignments. We also offer virtual lessons when students are unable to attend in person due to illness or travel.

How is tuition paid?

Tuition is billed monthly and reserves your weekly time slot for the academic calendar. Additional information regarding tuition, policies, and studio expectations can be found on our Studio Policy page.
