Statement of Faith

  • God: One eternal God in three Persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—revealed in Scripture. The Father is holy, just, and loving; the Son, Jesus Christ, is fully God and man, virgin-born, died for sin, rose bodily, and intercedes for believers; the Holy Spirit convicts, seals, indwells, and equips believers with gifts.

  • Scripture: The Bible is God’s inspired, preserved, authoritative Word, interpreted literally unless context indicates otherwise, with the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments as the complete revelation.

  • Creation and Humanity: God created the world in six literal days, 6,000–10,000 years ago, rejecting evolution. Man, made in God’s image as male or female, fell through Adam’s sin, inheriting a sinful nature and facing judgment.

  • Marriage: Marriage is a lifelong union between one man and one woman, reflecting Christ and the Church.

  • Sin: Sin, the transgression of God’s law, brings eternal punishment in Hell and the Lake of Fire unless redeemed by Christ’s atoning work.

  • Salvation: Salvation is by grace through faith in Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection. It includes eternal security, imputation of Christ’s righteousness, justification, regeneration, sanctification (positional and progressive), and glorification. Repentance, a change of mind about sin, accompanies faith. Election is based on God’s foreknowledge of those who freely trust Christ.

  • Heaven and Hell: Heaven is the eternal dwelling of God and believers; Hell is a literal place of torment for unbelievers, leading to the Lake of Fire after judgment.

  • Israel: God chose Israel to reveal His truth, but their rejection of the Messiah shifted focus to the Church. After the Rapture, God will resume His plan with Israel during the Tribulation, culminating in Christ’s Second Coming and Millennial Kingdom.

  • The Church: Born at Pentecost, the Church is Christ’s body, with local, autonomous assemblies tasked with preaching the gospel and making disciples. Its ordinances are baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper, both symbolic. Pastors and deacons lead, with membership requiring salvation and baptism. Church discipline restores erring members through confrontation and, if needed, exclusion.

  • Separation: Believers must live holy lives, lovingly engaging unbelievers for evangelism while avoiding unholy alliances. Partnerships with churches or organizations require doctrinal alignment and Holy Spirit guidance.

  • End Times: The Rapture will precede the Tribulation, followed by the Judgment Seat of Christ, the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, Christ’s Second Coming, the Millennial Kingdom, Satan’s final defeat, the Great White Throne Judgment, and the creation of a new Heaven and Earth.
