What age can students start violin lessons?
Our youngest students are around the age of 5. At this age, children are typically able to follow directions, focus for short periods, and develop the coordination needed to begin learning the instrument successfully.
Do I need to own a violin before starting lessons?
No. We can help you determine the correct violin size and provide guidance on purchasing or renting an instrument before your first lesson.
How do I know what size violin my child needs?
Violin sizing is based on arm length rather than age. We help families find the correct size so students can develop proper technique and play comfortably from the start.
Do you teach viola as well?
Yes! We welcome both violin and viola students and can help students develop strong fundamentals on either instrument.
How much should beginners practice?
Consistency is more important than long practice sessions. We’ll help each student develop realistic practice habits that fit their age, experience level, and goals.
Can adults learn violin?
Absolutely. Many adults begin violin later in life or return to music after years away. Lessons are tailored to your experience level and personal goals.
What styles of music do you teach?
Our instruction is rooted in classical violin technique while also incorporating worship music and other styles based on student interests and goals.

Yes. Students have opportunities to participate in studio recitals and other performance experiences throughout the year, helping them build confidence and celebrate their progress.
